We are busy. Over scheduled. Really over scheduled.
"Life happens when you are busy making plans."-unknown
The kids are still going to preschool 3 days a week. Eli STILL cries and reaches for me every single morning when I drop them off. Every. Single. Morning. He has been going since August people! I am trying to reach a weight loss goal so I am going to the gym 6 days a week. 6 days a week is exhausting to say the least. I am giving it 120% until the middle of April and then it is what it is and I will maintain what I've got. But til then I will work my tail off. I run or do a spin class or some sort of cardio activity for at least 30 minutes and then at least 3 days a week I have started weight training to help with toning. On the days I weight train I am at the gym for 2 hours. I journal everything. Food, cardio, weights.... blah blah blah. I am so ready to get to a maintain spot for a minute. On the weekends Adam goes with me and that is nice to be able to spend time with him. Emma takes dance class at the Little Gym on Thursdays (30 min gymnastics, 15 minutes ballet, 15 minutes tap) and she loves it! Eli goes to a gymnastics class every other week at The Little Gym. He just isn't into it as much as Emma so we let him go every other week.
We are becoming more involved with our church. We joined a small group within our church and have really gotten so much out of it so we do that one night a week. We are putting more effort into building friendships within our church community as well. That means that we are putting less effort into some of our other friendships... you can only be stretched so far. I am going to start singing at kids church this month and am excited about that! Adam and I both have started our own different devotionals that we are getting into.
Balance. Balancing Life. It is so hard for us! There seem to not be enough hours in the day for everything listed above and then on top of that... time with you spouse, quality time with your children, time with Him, finances, laundry, dishes... I need a mental health day!
This past week we got some pictures taken for Eli's 2 year pictures. But when I look at these pictures I see so much more... 6 years of marriage, a physical transformation in myself, a sweet curious 3 and 1/2 year old, and a precious 2 year old! So many good things are represented in these pictures!
Love the pics! It is so excited u will be singing for the kiddos...I'll tell Emma momma is a celebrity ;)
