Nashville, swim lessons, a train ride, & Easter weekend

We were in Nashville the weekend before Easter cause Adam had to work. We went to the zoo and met my brother & Nico there... Wild fun times!

Tired kids... this pretty much sums up our trip- they were EXHAUSTED!

The next day Adam had to work I was anxious to find something for me and the kids to do... so we went to a Adventure Science Museum for Kids in Nashville. It was geared towards older kids but it was a lot of fun. They had a whole room dedicated to kids 6 years and younger that we spent the majority of our time in. Eli wasn't feeling well so he wasn't in the best mood, It was a good time!

So I bought a few semi private swim lessons for Emma and Eli. I thought it would be a sibling bonding activity that they could do together... so I thought. We get to their first swim lesson all ready to go and Eli screams at the intimidating instructor and will not go near him while Emma is introducing herself to him, telling him how old she is, and asking for him to take her swimming. Poor Guy. Couldn't help but to feel bad for him. So Eli got put in a small time out for throwing a fit while Emma started the swim lesson. Eli was not having it.... so he got kicked out of swim lessons and now Emma is doing private swim lessons by herself. She has had 2 swim lessons and has already graduated to NO FLOATY!!! She is doing awesome and we are so proud!

NEWS UPDATE: Hopper got his summer hair do! (shaved)

We got invited to a birthday party the Saturday before Easter-a train ride!!!

It was quite an exciting time for my kids!

Yummy Cupcakes!

Later that same day... yes, that same day. (BUSY DAY) We hosted a small Easter egg hunt for the kids in our small group and then all cooked out afterwards.

My sweet precious babies all dressed up to enjoy a beautiful Easter!

Easter was really special to me and Adam this year. Sadly, I wish I could say that it has always been this special to us. This past year and especially the past 6 months our faith has grown tremendously!!! I mean, big time. And it has been pretty cool because we have grown together in our faith. Not really sure what set all of it off but we woke up and realized that we need to live for HIM and we are not going to miss out on Heaven because of this world. We are starting to maintain a marriage that I am very proud of because we have such a spiritual side to it where we are pouring into one another about the Bible.
This year Easter was not about a Bunny, eggs, or candy. It was about Jesus! And this is the first year that I have celebrated it for what it truly means
